Job Description:
Are you a skilled technician with a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of ice machines? Tidy Ice is looking for a dedicated Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team as a 1099 contractor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and servicing ice machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure our clients consistently receive top-quality ice products.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine preventative maintenance on ice machines at various client locations.

Perform inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues before they escalate.

Clean, sanitize, and troubleshoot ice machine components.

Replace worn-out parts and make necessary repairs to ensure optimal machine performance.

Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and service reports.

Provide exceptional customer service, answering client questions and addressing concerns.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.

Collaborate with the Tidy Ice team to coordinate maintenance schedules and client visits.

Requirements:

Proven experience in appliance or equipment maintenance, preferably with ice machines or refrigeration systems.

Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems.

Operations Support Lead
Tidy Ice is a growing commercial ice maker and bottle-less water leasing, service, and sales company dedicated to delivering reliable equipment and exceptional customer service to businesses across South Florida. We pride ourselves on our fast response times, preventative maintenance programs, and strong relationships with our customers. We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Operations Support Lead to help us streamline operations and support our continued growth.

Position Overview
The Operations Support Lead will oversee daily business operations with a focus on managing the warehouse, coordinating service dispatch, and ensuring a smooth flow between the office, field technicians, and customers. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance administrative responsibilities with operational support, all while maintaining a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Management: Oversee organization, inventory, and equipment readiness.

Purchasing & Vendor Relations: Submit purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely supply replenishment.

Work Order Administration: Process and invoice work orders accurately through our CRM and accounting systems.

Scheduling & Dispatching: Coordinate daily and preventative maintenance schedules, dispatch technicians efficiently, and pre-schedule upcoming service work.

Customer Support & Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for service calls, ensure timely updates, and provide a professional, customer-focused experience.

Team Leadership & Support: Provide guidance to technicians and warehouse staff, assist them when needed, and ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and build scalable systems as the company grows.

Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with leadership, sales, and service teams to ensure smooth communication and operational excellence.
Qualifications

Proven experience in operations management, service dispatch, or office administration (preferably in service, HVAC, refrigeration, or equipment leasing industries).

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency with CRM systems, invoicing software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
